Cold War

Hi everyone, the title explaines all.
This week I'm gonna introduce Cold War (2012).

First of all, lets take a look on who's involve in this movie.

Cold War starring,

Co-starring,

And special guest appearance,

Cold War (2012) is a movie about the Hong Kong Police Force, and how they're threatened by an anoymous call.
As can be seen on the poster, 'Asia's safest city is about to be tested.'
Cold War started with a fully loaded EU (Emergency Unit) Car carrying the force's most advanced equipment and 5 highly trained officers being hijacked. As we all know, to hijack a police car is not as easy as been said. And whatsmore to hijack to the extend that the police force couldn't find the location of the EU Car by GPS, Cameras, or anything they could think of.  The hijackers seem to know the whereabouts, the procedure, the actions that the Police are going to do. This incident not only threatens the innocent citizens of Hong Kong but also the cohesion of the police force.

Joe K.C Lee, acted by Eddie Peng, one of the hostages, is the son of Waise M.B Lee, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operation), acted by Tony Leung. Hence, Lee is very concerned on this operation, and named this operation, Cold War. And this is how the title come about. Lee would do anything to protect his son's safety, thus some of the methods he used were overboard. Sean K.F Lau, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Management), acted by Aaron Kwok, could not meet eye-to-eye to his methods. And he suspected that this case is not as simple as it is, even to the complications of the Lee and his son. Lau would try his best to get the Acting Commission to this operation.

Also, with the early retirement of the Commissioner, Cold War will decide who climbs to the top.

Throughout the whole operation, there's a lot of twist and turns and unexpected implications. What you see & hear may not be easy as what the truth is. In this movie, you will get to know the different duties of the departments in the Police Force. For eg, SDU, ICAC, Crime Bureau, and etc.

I personally feel that this movie is a great movie! Beware of the people around you, even the one closet to you. You may not know who and when you will be betrayed.

Now, lets take a look on how others feel about this movie.

Lastly, allow me to let you guys take a peek on the movie.
